Forward-looking radar. Sets retiring in 7 / 30 / 90 days. Affiliate-linked buy paths. Deal alerts at threshold.
What it does
Aggregates official LEGO retirement announcements, projected retirement dates inferred from stock signals, and analyst consensus on which sets are next in line for retirement. Displays them on a forward-looking radar with countdown timers. Each set links to the optimal buy path (LEGO.com with current promotions, Amazon, Target) with affiliate tagging.
Why it matters
The single best buy signal in the doctrine is 'near retirement at MSRP.' But LEGO doesn't always announce retirements in advance — sometimes a set just disappears. The Scout uses inventory signals, restock cadence, and analyst tracking to surface retirement candidates 30-90 days early, when prices are still at MSRP and stock is still available.
